A view of Sainte-Chapelle in Paris

It’s been a year since I’ve been to Sainte-Chapelle, one of the most beautiful places in Paris. On a sunny day, it looks even better, as the sun enhances the beautiful stainedglass windows.

  1. Beautiful shot Claude and from America here’s wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day! 🙂

If my history is correct, I believe Valentine’s Day actually originated in France and England. Seems I read that somewhere. 😉

  2. That is a glorious photo.

When we lived in Paris, la Sainte-Chapelle was my absolute favourite place to take visitors, espeicially, as you say, on a sunny day.

I’ll never forget the first time I saw it with an Australian friend, who was about to leave Paris. Neither of us realised what was in store. We were left totally speechless.
