Wednesday Window: a portrait

Place du Tertre, waiting for a customer

Last Sunday, I went up to Montmartre and found myself in a crowd of tourists. Not my favourite thing. But crowds have an advantage, everyone takes photos and people don’t notice you when you take a shot. This man was sitting, probably one of the artists at Place du Tertre, waiting for a customer.
You can have a look at my French blog –no need to understand French ;)– for more photos, or at my flickr set.

  1. I wish I knew the thoughts behind the face. He has such soulful eyes and yet he seems nearly unapproachable. At least, I think I would be a little afraid of rejection.

No wait, I think he would burst into a smile and it would light his face and bring a softness to those beautiful eyes.

So much for dreaming. . .
