Wednesday Window : In fair or foul weather…

Till death do us part
In fair of foul weather,
to have and to hold
from this day forward;
for better, for worse,
for richer, for poorer,
in sickness and in health,
to love and to cherish,
till death us do part’

  1. @ Matt, it seems that lots of people think the esplanade of Trocadéro is thoroughly romantic, with the Eiffel tower which is not in my photo, but is definitely in the background. But of course, on such a windy and rainy day, Wuthering Heights would have been more romantic 😉

    @ Joy and believe me she wasn’t invited! It was freezing cold and verrry windy! Which explains the coat on the bride’s shoulders. No one would like to start their marriage with pneumonia!

    Anyway, thanks everyone!

  2. I love that shot! I love how unseasonably tanned the bride is and how cold they both look! I hope they have many happy years together. I’m sure the location is much prettier with a blue sky and a warmer temperature.

    What were you doing? Just walking past?

  3. I just wanted to say how much I love your photo of the week. I have always wanted to inside the Opéra Garnier, but never have. Maybe one day. And your photo makes me really want to go!

  4. What does weather have to do w milestones? My friends’ son was a bar mitzva in an unexpected snow blizzard (causing me and many others to miss the service) and the family coped w the disappointment of missing guests w this bright idea — how many such services do we remember (if we attended or not)? This one, we’ll all remember.
